PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA POLICY

Effective date: 1 January 2026

Fruitful Vine Church (“FVC”) respects the privacy of our members, visitors, volunteers, ministry workers and other individuals who interact with the Church. We are committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

1. Collection of Personal Data

FVC may collect personal information such as names, contact details, attendance, membership, ministry involvement, emergency contacts, photographs, videos and other information voluntarily provided for Church-related purposes.

2. Purpose of Use

Personal data may be collected, used and disclosed where reasonably necessary for:

• Church administration and membership records

• Communication of Church services, events and activities

• Ministry, pastoral care and follow-up

• Cell groups and volunteer coordination

• Children's and youth programmes

• Event registration and safety

• Donations and financial administration

• Photography, video recording and livestreaming

• Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

3. Confidentiality & Protection

FVC will take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, loss or misuse.

Pastors, staff, ministry leaders and volunteers who handle personal data are expected to maintain confidentiality and use the information only for authorised Church purposes.

4. Photos, Videos & Livestreaming

Church services and events may be photographed, filmed or livestreamed for Church communication and ministry purposes. Individuals who do not wish to be featured should inform a Church leader or the Church's Data Protection Officer where reasonably practicable.

5. Access, Correction & Withdrawal

Individuals may request access to or correction of their personal data, or withdraw consent where applicable, by contacting the Church's Data Protection Officer.

6. Retention

FVC will retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for Church, legal or administrative purposes. Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Policy Updates
